La vida no prescribe, los errores tampoco.
Hoy el Tribunal Supremo ha rechazado que los afectados por la talidomida en España deban ser indemnizados por la compañía Grünenthal debido a los daños que les provocó este medicamento cuando sus madres lo tomaron durante el embarazo. Su argumento, que el derecho a ser indemnizados había prescrito, ya que los hechos se remontan a 50 años atrás.
De nuevo, hemos desaprovechado otra histórica oportunidad más para reivindicar nuestra condición de seres humanos. Porque al igual que ciertos delitos, hay errores que no deben prescribir con el plazo del tiempo, si no, la humanidad no aprende de ellos.
Y es que de vez en cuando, está bien reconocer que nos hemos equivocado y asumir nuestra responsabilidad sin buscar resquicios legales donde cobijarnos. Porque hay leyes que vulneran la justicia y merecen la pena que sean revisadas.
Cómo pueden decirle a los que le robaron su infancia, a los que le hicieron la vida más difícil desde antes de nacer, a los que le quitaron su sueño, que no les indemnizan porque no recurrieron a tiempo. Me da vergüenza escribirlo, peor me sentiría si tuviera que pronunciar esta sentencia.
Y este post Con Tinta de Médico va dirigido a la compañía Grünenthal, que tiene en sus manos revertir esa situación, porque la cantidad de dinero que se les pide es asumible y no deben existir empresas en un mundo globalizado que trabajen sin valores y menos en el ámbito sanitario, porque la salud no es un juego, y la vida debe protegerse.
Aunque a priori no lo entiendan, ganarán más perdiendo dinero que ahorrándolo, porque los seres humanos reconocemos las acciones ejemplares, y admiramos aquello que merece la pena recordar.
¿Cómo quieren que les recuerde la historia?
¿Cómo quieren que se sientan los que trabajan bajo su techo?
¿Cómo quieren que les perciban los que compramos sus productos?
Todos podemos cometer errores, la humanidad avanzó a costa de ellos.
Pero en esta oportunidad, no basta con un perdón, no basta por un silencio por respuesta, no basta con aceptar una sentencia, que en mi opinión es tremendamente equivocada.
Es el momento de que su compañía de un paso al frente y reconozca que hay errores que nunca prescriben, aunque una justicia a veces más ciega que justa, lo afirme.
Y es que la vida no prescribe, y los errores tampoco.

The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of «neighbors» will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users. Speaking of users, the Zune «Social» is also great fun, letting you find others with shared tastes and becoming friends with them. You then can listen to a playlist created based on an amalgamation of what all your friends are listening to, which is also enjoyable. Those concerned with privacy will be relieved to know you can prevent the public from seeing your personal listening habits if you so choose.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She placed the shell to her ear and screamed. Today, I went to the beach with my kids.
